John Boyega Of Star Wars Rocks Ghanaian Kente Cloth By Louis Vuitton

Incase You Missed It! Check Out John Boyega Of Star Wars Rocking Kente Cloth By Louis Vuitton.

Louis Vuitton has no problem inciting controversial threads on social media especially when racism is involved, in fact all major brands do.

After all if Gucci can go to such extremes to make a black face jumper and black American’s nor Africans have the capacity to cancel then even within their own celebrities and communities then why not push boundaries anytime possible.

Like what form of racism could be worst than black face fashion?

Nevertheless, it seems Louis Vuitton isn’t holding back on appeasing to it’s black Audience in recent years. Doing so has always been the life line to major brands for decades, just not publicly.

However, with recent changes in todays world, it seems that high end brands are more upfront with their inclusions of black culture, celebrities, and models in their advertisement. And LV has taking it to the next step by including popular Ghanaian royalty Kente in their collection as shown in their latest virtual show.

Back in the days, the cultural appropriation sirens would have blown off the roof but it seems like today that is a fight which leads to little or no repercussions.

plus Louis Vuitton has the main shield to protect them from culture appropriation claims, and that is their creative director, the one and only Virgil Abloh whose origins is also Ghanaian. Who would have thought all these years of culture vulture claims could have been silenced with a black employee.

With that said, Louis Vuitton is now banking off kente like no other brand and John Boyega is the first male celebrity that was spotted in the luxury African Kente Fabric.

There couldn’t have been a better pick than Joh Boyega (and that is not sarcasm).

John Boyega turned out in full force for the 2021 Critics’ Choice Awards, earlier this month.

Not only is he two for two when it comes to Best Actor wins for ‘Small Axe’, but he was looking culturally sharp wearing this Louis Vuitton Fall 2021 white kente outfit.

We’ve seen the British-Nigerian star celebrate his heritage on the red carpet before while promoting ‘Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker’, so incorporated this into his look definitely worked despite all cultural wonders.
