Okey Bakassi, a comedian, has described being assaulted during an event in Owerri, the capital of Imo state.
The comedian stated on Instagram that the attackers first threatened him when he instructed them to allow a free flow of wedding images.
They blocked other guests from getting photos with the pair while having a talk with the groom, according to Okey Bakassi. One of them attacked him shortly after the event ended. Okey Bakassi stated that he was saved due to the prompt intervention of other visitors.
The comedian claimed that the DSS assisted him in leaving the state. He went on to say that he will undoubtedly receive justice.
