Renowned Nigerian singer Peter Okoye, also known as Mr.P has stated that Nigeria is very sick and needs healing.
The singer urged Nigerians to exercise wise judgment when casting their ballots in next month’s presidential election and hailed Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s nominee, as the only doctor capable of curing the nation.
Peter Okoye of the Psquare band, urged eligible voters to cast their votes for a capable leader who would be able to address the nation’s many problems in a series of tweets on his verified Twitter account.
He wrote, “Vote wisely Nigeria is very sick and very ill already, and for those who decide to be tribal bigots by bringing tribal and ethnicity towards 2023, ask yourselves, where is Nigeria today?
“How did we get here? Who are those that put us in this present mess?
“Nigeria is sick already and needs healing right now. And the only doctor is @PeterObi inshala . Vote wisely! Vote @NgLabour”.
