While the Duke and Duchess of Sussex shared their first official Christmas card as a family of three this year, the Duchess of Cambridge released a candid image of the Duke of Cambridge, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
“Merry Christmas!” reads the accompanying Instagram caption. “This photograph of The Duke of Cambridge, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis was taken by The Duchess of Cambridge in Norfolk earlier this year. We wish all our followers a very happy and relaxing Christmas Day.”
The Duchess has long been interested in photography – stepping in to take the first official portraits of Princess Charlotte in 2015 and capturing key moments in her family’s lives ever since. In September, she notably shared a photograph of Prince George and Princess Charlotte together in their navy and red uniforms before their first day of school together at Thomas’s Battersea. Fittingly, the Duchess was named the patron of the Royal Photographic Society in 2019.
