Nigerian rapper, Cynthia Morgan now known as Madrina has called out the music industry over its fake love and friendship.

Madrina took to her Instagram page to pour out her heart as she stated that genuine friendships in the industry are scary as people tend only to recall you when you are in the spotlight or when they require assistance to make music.

She admitted that it brings her joy when such people reach out to collaborate and she finds amusement in their altered voices when she declines their offer.

The ‘German Juice’ crooner recalled how during her challenging times, only two people stood by her, while others, especially those she had collaborated with avoided or ignored her.

She wrote:

“There is barely friendship in the NMI. These people will likely only remember you when you are trending it when they hear a beat they feel only you can kill. Not intensional but it always feels good these days when they call me and I tell them am not making music at the moment, their voice always changes.”

““During my crisis, Kaha sent me 100k, Samklef 50k. What happened to the tons of artistes I did free collaborations and shows for? Lol”.
