CANADIAN FASHION ICON AND DESIGNER ARRESTED ON SEX TRAFFICKING CHARGES
It’s quite shocking that sex trafficking still goes on in some parts of the world. This is the shock that has been sent through the fashion world as fashion tycoon, Peter Nygard has been arrested on nine count charges which includes sex trafficking, racketeering charges, and claims that between 1995 and 2020, Nygard and other employees of his have used modeling as a facade to deceive victims.
Victims who were mostly underage, and came from struggling backgrounds were sexually assaulted forcefully or drugged into sexual activities with Nygard….
The indictment mentioned “at least dozens of adult and minor-aged females” who were victims of Nygard’s assault.
It was also revealed that these victims were not only used for Nygard’s sexual pleasure, but also that of his employees, friends, and business partners.
Nygard who was arrested on Monday by the Canadian authorities currently awaits bail and handover proceedings.
