Nigerian Afrobeats star Wizkid has commended Don Jazzy, a seasoned producer and music executive, for his “amazing” personality.
The recognition comes after their recent social media feud. According to glamsquad, Wizkid roasted Don Jazzy after his signee Ladipoe appeared to mock him in an X post for stating that ‘hip hop is gone’.
After a fan notified Wizkid to the post, he responded with, “Lol, never chatting with anyone signed to an influencer.” Next.”
He also retweeted two tweets that imply he referred to Mavin Records boss, Don Jazzy, as an influencer.
Don Jazzy reacted by unfollowing Wizkid on Instagram.
It appears the duo have put away their differences as Don Jazzy recently appreciated Wizkid for endorsing his signee, Ayra Starr’s sophomore album, ‘The Year I Turned 21.’
On Thursday, Wizkid took to his X handle to hail Don Jazzy, describing him as an “amazing human.”
He wrote, “Don jazzy! amazing human! [Love and eagle emojis].”
