Tuface Idibia is suing soft-sell magazine, Icon Weekly, for libel. The Media/Entertainment Law Firm of L & A- Legal Consultants has filed libel proceedings on behalf of Tuface, at the Ikeja High Court asking the court to award their client the sum of N100 million being damages for the libelous publication posted on the magazine’s online and print platforms. Icon weekly is already trying to settle out of court.

Icon weekly alleged that Tuface committed adultery by impregnating a ‘Lagos top banker’ who is supposedly his account officer in one of the new generation banks sometime in March this year.

They further said that the lady had every intention of keeping the baby. Tuface denied the story which went viral within a very short period of time. Both Annie and Tuface took their social media pages to express their pain and disappointment with the magazine. The negative impact of the rumour cost Tuface a very lucrative deal and misunderstanding between he and his wife.
