Zendaya always brings flair to the red carpet, at the Critics’ Choice Awards 2020, she raised the ante.
Working with her long-term stylist Law Roach, the Best Actress in a Drama Series nominee wore a fuchsia moulded bra and matching skirt from Tom Ford’s spring/summer 2020 collection.
“Warrior Woman,” Roach neatly summed up the look in an Instagram post of Zendaya on the blue carpet.
One of the biggest talking points of Tom Ford’s Bowery Station-based presentation last September.
The sculpted bra was inspired by everything from Ursula Andress’s metal lingerie in The 10th Victim to the Claude Lalanne breastplates that Yves Saint Laurent famously commissioned for his haute couture collection in 1969.
Another key reference, according to Ford? Jeff Koons’s “Rabbit”, made from polished steel, which sold for a record-breaking £70 million at auction last year.
