London based Zimbabwe born makeup artist Sandra Shamu of Sandz MUA trills us with a very yummy candy inspired beauty shoot and all of the candy you see here are very edible. The shoot isn’t just yummy because its accessorised with candy but the way she has used the colours and how they sit well or work well with the skin tone of the models.
In her interview, here’s what Shamu had to say;
I have always been interested in the creative side of makeup, where all rules can be fully broken. Inspiration for the shoot simply came from my love for sweets. I was sitting down one day eating some sweets thinking about organising a creative beauty shoot then I suddenly thought why not incorporate some of these sweets in the shoot? I began to draft some ideas, got a team together and this was the result 🙂
All accessories for the shoot where made by myself. For the sunglasses I removed the lenses then used super glue to stick the tiny sweets onto the frames. The necklaces were made using garden wire…
