A drama was staged on a road in Imo state by several young people to raise awareness about the dreadful status of the main road.
Residents have been concerned about the Nekede-Ihiagwa road for months, so in order to get the government’s attention, youngsters decided to swim in the stagnant murky water.
They were also observed cooking in the middle of the muddy water using a stove.
It was reported before President Muhammadu Buhari’s visit to Imo State last month that the Nekede-Ihiagwa road would be one of the roads he would commission with other projects.
