Your apology means nothing, return the tithes – Charly Boy slams Pastor Adeboye

Veteran entertainer, Charles Oputa, better known as Charly Boy has reacted to clergyman, Pastor Adeboye’s apology on Tithe.

In a video shared online on Friday, the founder of the Redeemed Christian Church of God acknowledged that his earlier claim—that those who don’t pay tithe won’t make it to heaven—was incorrect, as it’s not supported by the Bible. He clarified that the Bible emphasizes pursuing peace with everyone and living in holiness, without which no one will see God.

“I’m apologizing for saying, ’If you don’t pay tithe, you won’t make it to heaven.’ I’m sorry, that’s wrong, and it’s not in the Bible. What the Bible says is, ‘Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see God.”

Reacting to his apology via his Instagram page, Charly Boy expressed his belief that many of the most fake individuals can be found in churches. He dismissed the clergyman’s apology as meaningless unless it came with a promise to return the tithe money.

Charly Boy went on to say that often the kindest souls are those covered in tattoos, while those attending church every Sunday can be the most bitter, judgmental, envious, and wicked.

“I truly believe that a lot of the fakest people are found in churches, my opinion, not yours.

Your apology doesn’t mean shit unless you promise to return the tithe money they give you for mumu people wey wan bribe dia way to heaven, and stop giving up
