Nigerian-British professional boxer and two-time world heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua, has shared his thoughts on the path to becoming a billionaire.

The 35-year-old athlete, who enjoyed a lavish Detty December holiday in Nigeria, shared his thoughts on wealth, asserting that billionaire status cannot be achieved solely through sports, music, or entertainment.

In a post on his Snapchat page, Joshua urged entertainers and athletes to look beyond the allure of fame and prioritize building lasting wealth through sharp business strategies.

“For any to reach billionaire status, it will not be through sports, music, or entertainment. Don’t get lost in the hype; focus on the sustainability, books, and business ethics.”

It is worth noting that sports and entertainment has proven to provide a pathway to wealth but only a few have achiever billionaire status by combining business with their talents.

According to Forbes, celebrities and athletes such as Jay-Z, Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Tiger Woods, Michael Jordan, Christiano Ronaldo, Lineo Mercy and LeBron James have attained billionaire largely due to strategic endorsements, savvy investments, and successful entrepreneurial endeavors.

Anthony’s remarks have ignited widespread discussion on social media, with many echoing the sentiment that leveraging fame to build enduring wealth is a vital strategy for long-term success.
