Yolanda Okereke Pens Touching Note To Her Late Husband And Actor, Karibi Fubara On His Posthumous Birthday

Celebrity stylist, Yolanda Okereke has taken to social media to pen a touching note to her late husband and actor, Karibi Fubara on his posthumous birthday.

The stylist took to her Instagram page to share a short video of her late husband with a lengthy touching note.
In her note, she said she knows birthdays aren’t Fubara’s thing but this one is special because she knows he is dancing to Bobby Brown’s Every Little Step in Heaven.

Okereke also noted that she’s happy because the world got to experience her husband and kept a piece of him in their hearts.

She wrote,

“H. A. P. P. Y. B. I. R. T. H D. A. Y. C. H. I. E. F. Its your birthday today. I know birthdays aren’t really your thing but this one is special. Because I know you are dancing to Bobby Brown’s Every Little Step in Heaven… Or Silk Sonic’s Leave The Door Open and the Angels are cheering you on. I am happy you are a good place and filled with so much joy.

“Everyday is a good day. Some better than others. I’ve had the chance to do something better as you would want me to. It’s not the same with you not around, but I know you are still with me and still with us. I am not sad.

“I am happy Because the world got to experience you and kept a piece of you in their heart. I do not go by what I feel. I go by what I believe. Knowing you were here. You lived A Good Life. You Lived A Full Life. I have found my gift in this pain.

“I cannot wait to share it with the world. Thank you for sharing your Life With Me Thank you for making me a Better Person. Happy Birthday My Baby Boy.

Glamsquad recalls that Karibi Fubara passed away on 15th December 2021. Fubara’s sister, Aya Eneli shocked Nigerian movie lovers when she posted his demise on her Twitter page.

She tweeted,

“My brother, Karibi Fubara, has joined the ancestral realm. I’m devastated, but not hopeless.

“He lived fully and with joy. Left a great body of work. Will be a powerful ancestor. I love you. He was a warrior, now he is an angel in heaven.”

Fubara who rose to prominence after his role in ‘Before 30’ revealed in 2020 that he was diagnosed with kidney cancer.

The late actor got married to Yolanda Okereke in 2019. The deceased won many hearts in films in his role in the recent ‘Smart Money Woman’ and ‘God Calling’.

He went on to star in several movies including ‘Quam’s Money’, ‘Castle and Castle’, ‘Royal Hibiscus Hotel’ and ‘Castle and Castle’ series which is currently showing on Netflix.
