Glamsquad recalls that Wofai Fada had her traditional wedding with Taiwo Cole in May in Cross River, followed by a civil ceremony in October, where she shared photos and expressed that while every love is beautiful, theirs is her favorite. Wofai also hinted that one more wedding celebration awaits.
Wofai’s journey to becoming Mrs. Cole wasn’t without its share of drama. After announcing her engagement to Taiwo and revealing plans to wed this year, their pre-wedding photos sparked a wave of reactions.
After Wofai Fada announced her engagement, her in-laws issued a public statement rejecting her marriage to their son, Taiwo Cole. They claimed that family, friends, and acquaintances were unaware of any wedding arrangements and had not given permission. The family urged the public to disregard any related announcements or documents.
In a leaked audio, Wofai’s father-in-law expressed feeling blindsided by his son’s marriage decision, adding his disapproval of Wofai being eight years older than Taiwo.
Undeterred by the backlash, Wofai went ahead with the wedding in her home state. Unfazed by the controversy, she called for love to prevail and declared that her joy with her husband would be everlasting.
