Messi will meet some of his old Barcelona teammates in the next hours, according to Relevo’s Matteo Moretto.
Messi’s contract with PSG expires at the conclusion of the season, but he has yet to reach an agreement with the Parisians on an extension.
Messi, 35, has been mentioned as a possible return to the Blaugrana.
In the middle of these rumours, the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner will reunite with his former Barcelona teammates, who defeated Atletico Madrid 1-0 in a La Liga match at Camp Nou over the weekend.
Apart from having fun and reconnecting with old friends, Messi will also discuss future plans, according to Moretto, who tweeted:
“As @gerardromero announced yesterday, Leo Messi is in Barcelona with his entire family.” When he has free time, Leo returns to his hometown of Barcelona, where he hopes to play next season if the conditions are favourable.
“In the coming hours, the Argentine plans to meet some former Barcelona teammates and friends to enjoy, spend time together, and share ideas for the future.”
