Nigerian skit maker and Human Rights Activist, Adebowale “Debo” Adedayo, better known as Mr. Macaroni, has made a bold declaration to continue snubbing Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Governor of Lagos State.
Mr Macaroni’s statement comes after an X user identified as @OyesileJohn accused him of snubbing the Governor.
The user @OyesileJohn tweeted: “To d’ifa fun a certain Macarroni who, in an attempt to please the mob, snubbed the governor of Lagos state. Omo ase.”
In response, the skit maker took to his handle in a series of posts, stating that he would persist in snubbing Governor Sanwo-Olu.
He also voiced his frustration over being told to stop disturbing the governor while he was in detention, where he claims to have been stripped naked, beaten, tortured, brutalized, and dehumanized.
“I will continue to snub your Governor. He doesn’t mean anything to me, neither do you or your father. I love that you slaves bring this issue up all the time.
“For every time you do, I will send you to your masters.”
“I can never mingle with the government that “stripped me naked, beat, tortured, brutalized and dehumanized me.”
Reacting, Netizens backed Mr Macaroni for continuing to take a firm stand against the governor. Interestingly, comedian, Seyi Law, seized the opportunity to criticize Governor Sanwo-Olu for pretending not to know him while reportedly begging Mr. Macaroni for a handshake.
He tweeted: “Nobody should blame Macaroni for the way he speaks to Gov. @jidesanwoolu. Gov. BOS will see me and act like he doesn’t know me, but he will be begging Macaroni for a handshake. Everybody get out.”
