Why I refused to perform at Tinubu’s renewed hope concert – Portable

Controversial Habeeb Okikiola, also known as Portable, a Nigerian artist, has stated why he refused to play at President-elect Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Concert in Abuja on Thursday, glamsquad reports

Portable stated on Friday in viral social media footage that the Tinubu inauguration event organizers offered him N5 million instead than the N10 million that was billed for his appearance.

The Zazuu singer remarked on his Instagram page, “ZAzuu Them Dn Rip Me oooh Na Me Sing Akoi TINUBU.” Ibu Loni Eja. Give what is ZAZUU’s to ZAZUU.”


“I sing Akoi Tinubu o.” Obi una dey vote for who? Tinubu arrives now that those useless people have gone to perform there, so why should I promote Tinubu?

“That’s what they nicknamed my boss. They claim they want me to perform in Abuja. And I was paid ten million dollars, but just five million dollars. That’s why I objected, tore the paper, and crossed out the number. Do you moan, Jesus? “Nahin, don’t make me perform for Abuja.”

Wande Coal, KCee, and other artists performed during the performance, which Tinubu and his vice, Kashim Shettima, also attended.
