
American singer Nick Cannon has expressed regret over being unable to have a child with singer and actress Christina Milian when they dated briefly.
Cannon, who is a proud father of 12 children, dated Milan for two years. They both met on the set of the 2003 hit film “Love Don’t Cost A Thing.’’
He disclosed that they talked about the possibility of raising a family together, but things did not work out for the both of them in the end.
Nick Cannon made the revelation in an interview with “Shade Room.”

He lamented the missed opportunity of having a child with the now 41-year-old actress.
Nick Cannon, who is also known for his love and admiration for kids, said:
“If I say this, I know it’s gonna go viral. But when Christina Milian and I were doing ‘Love Don’t Cost a Thing’, I remember when I found out she was pregnant (years later) … I was like, “Dang, man.”’
Cannon, 42, also disclosed that he was excited for his former partner and has nothing but love and respect for her family.
He added:
“But I was so happy for her. I remember we were kids in love early on, and so we talked about that. But to each his own. Life plans it out. The universe gives it how it’s supposed to be given.”
After appearing in “Love Don’t Cost A Thing,’’ both actors have gone on to establish a place for themselves in Hollywood. Nick Cannon is also popular as a high profile media personality.
