SolidStar was born on September 24, 1988. SolidStar has ventured into music since his early years at a local church in his hometown of Delta State. He started as a drummer but has since gone on to sing over the years, gaining a lot of recognition and fame across the country. SolidStar took center stage after the release of the single “One in a Million”. He released it in 2010 and has since remixed it with Tuface Idibia. This made “One in a Million” one of the most played songs of 2010.
In addition to singing in English, SolidStar can comfortably sing in his native Isoko dialect, which has made him well-received by the locals in his state. the origin which is the Delta State, and Nigeria in general. SolidStar is currently signed to Achievas Records.
CAREER
Solid Star has become one of Nigeria’s top singers and is the first West African rookie to release an enhanced audio CD. Their debut album (with CD + 2 enhanced videos + wallpapers + ringtone) is a 14-track featuring some of the best Nigerian producers and artists such as 2-Face Idibia, W4, Ill Bliss, Clever Jay, Cartier, Jacuzi, and a very young African-American rapper Breeze, who was also signed to Achievas Records.

SolidStar’s music video for their hit “One in a Million” with Tuface Idibia was widely accepted by fans and broadcast overwhelmingly on radio and television stations across the country. It was reported that the video was number one for three weeks in Trace TV’s top 10 for Africa, which is very impressive. SolidStar’s latest single, Emergency, is currently being broadcast en masse on satellite TV and local TV stations.
SolidStar performed alongside other well-known musicians such as Naeto C, teenage prodigy, Wizkid, rappers from Chocolate City Ice Prince and Jesse Jagz, Skales, Djinee, Kas, and YQ.
