Praise Nelson was born on January 30, 1992 and is a native of Enugu state, a predominantly Igbo state in Nigeria. He is not a novice when it comes to competition, having won the 2015 K-Pop World Festival, South Korea, and placed third in a 2010 national dance competition.
Reality TV star Praise was 29 years old in 2021. He attended the University of Abuja to study law in 2010, but failed the semester exam due to the Maltina Dance All competition.
