Superstar singer Davido returned to the spotlight this month after being out for a while. The death of Davido’s son Ifeanyi hit the singer so hard that he had to take time off social media to grieve his loss with his girlfriend Chioma and the rest of his family.
Davido, who performed in the final ceremony of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar on December 18, 2022, announced that he would be back in the spotlight by March, 2023, and he has fulfilled that promise by returning in grand style.
The grand return of Davido is the announcement that he will be releasing an album titled “Timeless” on March 31, 2023.

Announcing his return, Davido said:
“There is a time for everything. A time to Grieve and a time to Heal. A time to Laugh and a time to Dance. A time to Speak & A time for Silence. Thank you to everyone out there for your love and that has held me down. My next album TIMELESS is here, March 31st. All the love and messages while I was away, the gifts sent, the concerts you all threw! I appreciate it all. Today, I want to remind you all that what is now Timeless, was once new. It’s time for new.”
The singer’s team also described “Timeless” as a body of work that represents “Davido’s core as an artist.”
His crew hailed “Timeless” as “a body of work that goes beyond fashion and trends. It’s an authentic body of work that remains true to Davido’s core as an artist, using his music to bring joy to his fans across the world. The songs you hear today will be just as relevant tomorrow, that’s why it’s Timeless.”
By the time “Timeless” is released on March 31, we are optimistic that its impact will be felt across the globe.
