‘Weed doesn’t give inspiration’ – Singer, Crayon tells colleagues

Fast-rising singer,  Charles Chukwu better known as Crayon has urged his fellow artists and creatives not to be misled into thinking that using illegal substances such as marijuana better known as weed will inspire them.

Taking to his X page, Crayon stated that anyone lacking talent won’t find creative inspiration by using weed or other illicit substances.

Crayon further advised his colleagues to steer clear of any form of illicit substance abuse.

He tweeted

 “The biggest lie na say igbo/weed/drugs dey bring inspiration, lol. Na the biggest lie, bros. You get talent, you get talent, if you no sabi, you no sabi, if you like smoke one bag of Igbo, shishi you no vibe! Don’t be deceived. Please, say no to drugs!”

Crayon recently shared that he struggled with addiction to illicit substances for years until Babyfresh, a producer at Mavin Records and CEO of Blowtime Imprint, who discovered his talent, advised him to quit. He noted that he has since stopped using any illicit substances.
