AY Makun reacts to Seun Kuti’s claim that he called the singer's daughter a dog

Comedian, AY Makun has replied to singer, Seun Kuti for mocking him over his predicament.

Glamsquad recalls that AY and his family lost their Lagos mansion to a devastating fire, prompting them to temporarily relocate to the US.

In a viral video on Wednesday, Seun Kuti made a mockery of AY’s burnt mansion and noted how the comedian called his daughter a dog in one of his skits and had also used his trials and tribulations to make jokes.

He claimed that he was always there for AY, especially when he lost his house, but AY still made jokes at the expense of his daughter.

Revealing a shocking claim about the comedian, Seun alleged that AY physically abuses his wife and has bad breath, which is widely known within the industry.

In the video, Seun said in parts;

 “They said I laughed when AY Makun’s house burned down, but if you follow me often, you’d know that the day his house caught fire, I went live without delay.”

“As they were trying to extinguish the fire, I was live, except for the moment you portrayed my daughter as a dog in your skit video, making jokes about my trials and tribulations.”

Reacting to the allegations levied against him, AY mentioned how the more he tries to steer clear of animosity and constant criticism, the more he feels like he’s become a target for others’ negative energy.

AY further stated that he never referred to the daughter of the artist as a dog. He explained that he uses trending issues for most of his jokes and that the video Suen referred to as the skit in which he called his daughter a dog is untrue.

The father of two also explained that he used the Hilda Baci dog-eating incident for a skit, which came about when she was criticized by a dog lover for cooking and consuming dogs as a delicacy.

He also indirectly referred to Seun Kuti’s father, Fela, stating that Fela used to mock politicians during his time to create content, implying that his own comedic style is influenced by the artist’s father.

Captioning the post, AY wrote

“Amongst every good thing that has happened in my life and career in recent times, this year has also offered me to many as an unfortunate victim of unforeseen serial circumstances. The more I try to avoid the animosity and incessant attacks, the more I see myself as a programmed misery meal made from the recipe of some collective and very intentional chefs.

Before they say to you guys bon appétit’ with a smiling face and victory song, Can you all please bear the hunger for a few more minutes and ask real questions concerning all the ingredients that brought this meal to the table?

I promised I wasn’t going to respond to @bigbirdkuti
not until he mentioned me calling his child a dog. He also labeled me as a wife-beater, and ONLY God sees and knows where all that came from.

For me, children are completely off-limits. They are our most valuable resource. They are the deposits we make here on Earth to carry our names when we are no longer around. Their mothers double as our wives and the very best help mates that we all cherish as men.

Having said all that, kindly watch this video, and LET ME KNOW WHEN, WHERE, AND HOW EXACTLY I CALLED @bigbirdkuti. DAUGHTER A DOG…
