Vivienne Westwood Fall-Winter 2023 Ready To Wear Collection

Vivienne Westwood FW 2023 RTW Collection are some of the best displayed at the fashion show from the choice of outfit to the boots leather. Sheers and leather hats were observed.

Some of the models stepped out in laced bodied jumpsuits looking nice as they walked passed the audience who welcomed them with blinding camera flashes.

Platforms, minicrini (made more midi), corsetry, pirate boots and jerkins, drunkenly undulating gathering and drape, and gender-fluid mix-and-matching were all present in a collection produced almost entirely of deadstock. Kronthaler-inspired trachten-tinged Tirolian overtones in darkly autumnal brown gilets and some of those large skirts were long incorporated within the broader Westwood canon.

More personal details included Stockbridge’s tears smudging her eye make-up, a reference to Westwood’s own, and the pavé and metal pigs that were commonly used as accessories. These were references to a wooden good luck charm Westwood had received many years before and kept on her mantle.
