Reality TV star, Anita Natacha Akide better known as Tacha has lamented about the humiliations Nigerians experience outside the country.
She further revealed that Nigerians are being sent back, while some others have their passports seized by the authorities in Dubai.

Tacha noted how one is expected to pay an additional fee of ₦31,000 on return to Nigeria.
“I can’t even believe after spending those long hours in transit!!! After paying and getting your VISA!! Buying ticket too!! Making Dubai plans And you’ll just be sent back like that!! Gosh The humiliation Nigerians face outside Nigeria ehn!! It is just dispiriting.
“Dubai is really sending Nigerians back to Nigeria even with their valid visas!!! And ontop of that when you reach Nigeria!! You’ll be paying an additional fee of N31,000 for whatever reason I don’t even know!!”.
Glamsquad notes that Nigerians have been sharing their humiliating experience at Dubai airport. However, the Nigerian government have been denying every bit of it.
A Tweeter user identified as @dunchichi had raised an alarm on social media that they were being detained at the Dubai airport and their passports were seized.
The lady shared a video from the airport which shows Nigerians demanding answers from the Dubai authorities after their passports were seized without explanation.
She said her passport was later released through the help of her sister who picked her up from immigration after a “tedious process” but other Nigerians who didn’t have anyone in the country were not released.
