Video: Lupita Nyong’o reveals her heartthrob, TV host, Selema Masekelago

Hollywood actress, Lupita Amondi Nyong’o has revealed her heart robe TV host, Selema Masekela to the world.

The 39-year-old and her man who is also an actor went public a few hours ago after posting the same video via their respective Instagram accounts.

Glamsquad notes that Lupita Nyong’o has kept her personal life private since becoming famous.

Lupita’s only confirmed relationship before now was with Keinan Abdi Warsame, the Somali-Canadian musician and poet popularly known as K’naan, who sang “Wavin Flag” at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa

The gorgeous black beauty began her career in Hollywood as a production assistant. In 2008, she made her acting debut with the short film East River.

Having been birthed in Mexico, Lupita returned to her motherland, Kenya, and appeared in the Kenyan television series Shuga, an MTV Base Africa/UNICEF drama about HIV/AIDS prevention. 

Moving ahead in her career path, Lupita had her first feature film role as Patsey in Steve McQueen’s historical drama 12 Years a Slave (2013), for which she received critical acclaim and won several awards, including the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. She became the first Kenyan and Mexican actress to win an Academy Award. 

She is also the recipient of several accolades, including an Academy Award, a Daytime Emmy Award, and two Screen Actors Guild Awards. She has received nominations for a Golden Globe Award, two BAFTA Awards, two Primetime Emmy Awards, and a Tony Award. After her successful feature in “12 years a slave”, sh e wrote, produced, and directed several movies and series.
