Despite their seemingly friendly encounter in Saudi Arabia last month, former heavyweight boxing champion Deontay Wilder says he still ‘can’t stand’ Tyson Fury, glamsquad reports
Wilder and Fury have fought three times in the last three years, with the first fight ending in a draw and Fury winning the next two by knockout.
Since those defeats, Wilder has accused Fury of being a “cheater” and tampering with his gloves in their rematch.
Both men then met this month in Saudi Arabia ahead of the Tommy Fury vs Jake Paul fight, which went surprisingly well.
When Fury saw Wilder approaching the Arena, he yelled the American’s signature catchphrase, ‘Bomb Squad!’
The two then hugged, with Fury enjoying the experience so much that he later remarked, “I felt absolutely amazing, I almost got a stiffy there.” Unbelievable.”
When asked about his recent encounter with Fury, he replied, “Everything has its place and time.”
“I despise that motherf***er.” They know what’s going on, he’s a liar… However, [Saudi Arabia] is a safe haven.
“I don’t like you, but I can come over and tell you I see you.” I know where you are, and you know where I am; we can coexist; you stay there, and I stay here…
“If I saw him out or something like that, I’ll go by how my energy feels, which can be very unpredictable because I’m a very unpredictable person.”
“Fury had no idea what I was going to do; I could feel his nervousness because I’m an empath, but I came in peace.”
“Everything has a time and a place.”
