Richard Abiodun Ayoyinka, a veteran Nollywood actor, has denied reports that he died on Saturday, January 14, 2023, glamsquad reports.

To clear the air, the ace comedian stated that it was a stand-in character for Papa Ajasco in the popular 1996 sitcom by Wale Adenuga Production (WAP), Femi Ogunrombi, who died, not him.
Husseini Shaibu, a theatre practitioner, confirmed Ogunrombi’s death on Twitter on Sunday.
When the previous character, Abiodun Ayoyinka, left the show, Ogunrombi took over as Papa Ajasco.
In a video obtained by glamsquad, Ayoyinka expressed gratitude to his many fans for their concern about the widely circulated death rumor.
