Nollywood veteran Yoruba actor, Azeez Olaniyi better known as Baba Atoli is died.
The death of the veteran was announced by his colleague, Foluke Daramola in a post on her Instagram page.
Sharing a picture, she wrote, “Sad we lost Baba Atoli. What a big shame.”
A few months back, the late veteran solicited funds from Nigerians due to his failing health.

In a video posted on Youtube, Baba Atoli called on the National President of the Theatre Arts and Motion Picture Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), Bolaji Amusan, better known as Mr Latin, and the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu for support.
The industry has witnessed the death of veterans in the past months.
Yinka Ogundaisi, a seasoned veteran passed on last week.
