Social media critic, Martins Vincent Otse, better known as VeryDarkMan (VDM) has disclosed the origin of a controversial audio recording involving famous crossdresser Bobrisky during a House of Representatives panel investigation.
The panel investigates bribery allegations involving the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS). On Monday, VeryDarkMan appeared before the panel, alongside officials from the EFCC and NCoS, to address accusations of bribery and corruption.
Initially, VeryDarkMan refused to testify, insisting on Bobrisky’s presence despite the invitation. However, lawmakers eventually pressured him to speak before the committee.
After some initial resistance, VeryDarkMan confirmed the authenticity of the audio recording, revealing that it came from an individual Bobrisky owed money to. He further alleged that Bobrisky paid ₦15 million to have money laundering charges dropped, along with additional millions for preferential treatment while in prison.
However, Bobrisky denied these allegations claiming the voice recording is AI generated. These allegations promoted investigations into EFCC and NCoS.
