Former Big Brother Naija housemate Veeiye has shed some light on her experience with Nigerian and UK men.
The reality TV star hailed Nigerian men over their UK counterparts for being able to foot the bill for date outings.
Vee made the claim in a podcast where she talked about her ex-boyfriend, noting that Nigerian men are better at taking financial responsibility for going out on dates with women, unlike men in the UK who prefer to go with the 50:50 formula of sharing bills on a date with the woman.
However, Vee noted that the 50:50 attitude of British men is not down to stinginess but rather is about cultural differences.

Speaking further, Vee disclosed that she brought the mentality to Nigeria when she relocated from the UK and split the bills with men she went out with. But she stopped with time when she adapted to the Nigerian culture and now feels cheated when she is asked to split the bill on a date.
It will be recalled that Veeiye recently admitted to being in love with the chaos that Lagos brings and stated that she is not thinking about relocating abroad anytime soon.
She said:
“When I said I wanted to come to Nigeria and figure things out, I wanna see it through. I don’t think I’m tired yet. I unfortunately love the beautiful chaos of Lagos; I don’t know why. But I feel like the same thing applies to people that have lived in Lagos their whole lives and they want to leave. I don’t blame them.”
