The layered silhouettes featured inventive cutouts, such as suit jackets with side cutouts for ventilation, bib-like fronts left to hang freely, and eyelets with fabric tabs fastening under the shoulders, adding intrigue to the overall design.
Other blazers were cropped and draped cape-like over the shoulders, styled with lightweight yet structured shirts, wrap skirts, and trousers, some boasting oversized pockets for a utilitarian feel. Classic hues like gray, beige, and black were paired with pops of sherbet orange, lilac, and pale yellow pinstripes.
Organza shirts were reduced to a single transparent sleeve, paired with an attached scarf that could be tied over or under a shirt or jacket for an asymmetric twist.
Wide trousers featured deep side slits, enhancing movement with an effortless flow. Traditional Shibori tie-dye techniques appeared on intentionally creased satin pieces in petrol spill-inspired hues, while abstract geometric swirls defined the season’s print.
A collaboration with Reebok debuted this season, offering a capsule collection of reimagined shellsuits crafted from textured technical fabrics. Jackets and skirts featured drawstring details and were layered over formal trousers, showcasing Nishizaki’s love for vintage fashion while extending his exploration of sporty silhouettes, first introduced in his fall collection.
