Tyler Perry signs huge four-film deal with Amazon Prime

Tyler Perry, a filmmaker, actor, and writer, has signed a multi-million dollar film production deal with Amazon Prime, glamsquad reports.

Perry will direct and produce four feature films for Amazon Studios, which will be available on Prime Video.


The announcement, made on Monday, November 28, follows Perry’s first streaming outing on Netflix, which featured films such as ‘A Madea Homecoming’ and, more recently, ‘A Jazzman’s Blues.’

In a statement, Perry stated:

“Jennifer Salke and the entire team have welcomed me with open arms, and I’m looking forward to continuing to tell unique stories and bringing my next projects to their global audiences.”
