Made in Nigeria was all the rave this past wekeend at the Lekki Coliseum where online market place Qeturah.com held the 2nd edition of their quarterly offline event titled “Tropika Summer Splash”
 
A lot of culture and Lifestyle work was represented with amazing Art works from Tayo Olusola and a range of gorgeous organic skincare brands including Sahara Sunshine, Etnique and Ene Natural.
 
There were amazing healthy treats and pastries from Moffin option but above all else, it was the fashion we were particularly excited about.
 
DUD Lagos brought some chic and considerable affordable duds no pun intended. With cute floral denim dresses and a host of effortlessly gorgeous casuals.
 
Mofe Couture brought a mix of that modern meets traditional infusions we’ve become oh so familiar with in a minimalist vehicle and it totally worked.
 
FOMO Lagos and HTC brough casual T-shirt cool with stylish twists to basic Tees an essential in every wardrobe.
 
If there was such a thing like display perfection that would have been the only description for the ‘Made for More’
display.  A carpet grass background that informed the amount of thought that went into the presentation of their super cool footwear line.
Then there was the mother of all awesomeness, Keexs footwear. These guys brought amazing graffiti inspired sneakers to the table and we loved it. We totally wanted to eat it up because I mean how cool is that?
 
It was great to see brands on the rise doing soo well and contributing positively to the made in Nigeria narrative. As much as we love to talk about these big guys, it’s just as fantastic to see emerging talent spit forth that much quality and style and all at an affordable cost.
