Top Ten Nigerian Songs In August 2023

In August 2023, some Nigerian songs reached strong peaks on global music charts. Apart from hitting global charts, some of these tracks made their way to social media and dominated most promo videos.

“City Boy’’ is one of the numerous hit songs in Burna Boy’s “I Told Them’’ album. It currently sits at number one on Nigeria’s Apple Music chart.

Young John recently released this single and just as his numerous songs, “Sharpally’’ is already a vibe to jam with. It will come as no surprise if it makes it to the Apple Music Top 10 chart.

Obapluto- Shallipopi

Shallipopi is one of the biggest sensations in the Nigerian music industry this year. His hit song “Obapluto” is still a hit this August.

Giza- Burna Boy Ft. Seyi Vibez

A Burna Boy and Seyi Vibez song would surely be a hit. “Giza” is another track off the “I Told Them” album that has been widely accepted by listeners this August.
