Seeing ‘strong’ women who carry on these responsibilities has served as an eye opener to me and I would love to share with you as well; perhaps you will be enlightened as I was.
In this article, I would like to list five Nigerian celebrities in the movie industry who are single mothers and are doing an exceptional job while at it, however, they don’t always get fans’ support.
Following the celebration of Father’s Day and attempts to ‘steal’ the show and disparage fathers to their children, some of these so-called celebrities received criticism from their followers. Though some enjoyed the encouragement of their followers.
It’s no secret that many superstars in the entertainment business, particularly women, are single parents.
When one parent is unavailable, this group of parents often takes on the roles of both a mother and a father for their kids.
Here are 6 female celebrities who are single mothers and who act as father figures for their kids, in no particular order.

The fair-skinned actress and her spouse Churchill divorced in 2017 after he following a series of heated quarrels and “irreconcilable” differences. She is the mother of one lovely kid, Andre. Recently, she was announced as the running mate of ADC Rivers State governorship candidate.

The beautiful and delectable Nollywood actress and entrepreneur Genevieve Nnaji is a single mother and she doesn’t look it. The Lion Heart director is the mother of Chimebuka Nnaji, who is also her lookalike.
3. IYABO OJO
Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, who is the mother of Festus and Priscilla Ojo, who are both teenagers, is at the top of the list.

She is a joyful single mother of two teenagers, a boy and a girl. Since her husband passed away, she has been raising her children alone.
