Nollywood filmmakers in recent years has captured the interest of foreign investors such as Netflix and Amazon Prime to create worldwide access to Nigerian movies and also produce movies of international standards.

Funke Akindele
Funke Akindele better fondly known as Jenifer has pitched herself as the number one filmmaker in Nigeria. She has successfully earned the name ‘Queen of Box Office’ after her movie ‘The Tribe of Judah’ claimed the sport of the highest grossing movie in Nigeria.
Funke’s storyline and cinematography have been one of the selling points that makes fans anticipate her movies.
Some of her latest produced movies include Omo Ghetto, Omo Ghetto – The Saga, She Must be Obeyed, Battle on Buka Street and the much anticipated ‘Everybody Loves Jennifer’.
Femi Adebayo

She executive produced Fifty, The Wedding Party, Chief Daddy, The Royal Hibiscus Hotel in 2018, and Your Excellency in 2019. Among her notable works is ltūr, a gripping feature film that sheds light on the dark world of human trafficking in Nigeria.
