Veekee James, Mizwanneka and Femi Atere

Fashion designer, Ruth Erikan James better known as Veekee James has been in the news all year. From her glamorous yet controversial wedding to the drama between her and her once-upon-a-time bestie, Doris Nwanneka, better known as Mizwanneka.

Well, Veekee James tied the knot with Mr Femi Atere who was once a manager to Mizwanneka. Rumours had it that Veekee James allegedly snatched Femi from her bestie. While none of the said parties have come to address the rumour, they have been peppering eachother on social media.

Self-acclaimed controversial activist and critic, Martins Vincent Otse, better known as VeryDarkMan (VDM)has continued to rob off his personality on social media. While many noted that he started on a good course in fighting injustice as in the case of body organic seller, Jennysglow in Abuja, an act that made other organic product sellers and producers sit tight, he diverted from a good cause and began picking up quarrels with women such as Iyabo Ojo, Tonto Dike among others.

Veydarkman was also fingered among those who didn’t allow justice to prevail on the case of late singer, Mohbad after he used his platform to demand a DNA test from the singer’s widow, Wunmi.

Aside the two celebrities earlier stated, VeyDarmMan had an online misunderstanding with Tunde Ednus who stylishly brought him to limelight, Billionaire businessman, Obi Cubana, Talent manager, Plauo Okoye, controversial crossdresser, Bobrisky, singer, Folarin Falana aka Falz and his father, Femi Falana (SAN) among others.

He opened a non-governmental organization (NGO) in October and received huge donations such as ₦33 million Naira within 24 hours after he opened it. On 16th October, Marvin Records CEO, Don Jazzy who was once dragged mercilessly by Veydarkman donated ₦100 million Naira in the Ngo sparking a buzz on social media.

On Friday, 27th December, VDM cried out that his website was hacked and the sum of ₦180 million was stolen. Today, he made a Uturn that the money wasn’t stolen and insulted those who insulted him.

Tonto Dikeh

Nollywood actress turned politician, Tonto Dikeh trended for assaulting a car dealer in August. In a video that made rounds, the mother one was caught in a heated altercation with a car dealer over an unsettled debt.

According to reports, Tonto purchased a car worth ₦86 million on an installment plan but has failed to pay the remaining ₦2 million balance even after a year. Netizens slammed her for assaulting the car dealer without any consequences and noted that she would misuse power as a politician.

Earlier this year Tonto got VeryDarkMan arrested for false allegations against her. Trouble between these two started when Tonto called for the release of Mohbad’s body for a proper burial. He opposed her stance, pointing out that the Nigerian police would not release the body until their investigation into the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s death was concluded.
