Amid the current economic crisis facing Nigeria, media personality, Toke Makinwa has bragged about having a backing and not feeling the heat as others.
The country currently experiencing its worst hardship in recent years, with citizens, especially the youths preparing to protest against the deteriorating economic conditions and poor governance.
Taking to her Instagram page, Toke Makinwa shared a video bragging about her inner circle and how they are not affected by economic hardships due to their substantial support system.
Eulogizing God, Toke made it known that the economy can’t make her lower her standard because her heavenly father got her backing.

Toke said
“I told you, all my friends and loved ones in this season, no matter how tough the economy of the jungle gets, the lion will never eat grass. We are the children of the lion of the tribe of Judah. Do you know what that means?”
She continued, “I don’t care what the economy is saying, we don’t settle for less. Do you know who our father is? We get backing. God does not come late. Do you know who my father is?”
In other news, Toke Makinwa threw shade at married women who judge her.
Taking to her Instagram story, Toke gave a shout-out to those unnamed married women who used to judge her as she noted how life has visited them.
The actress stated that some women who claim to be married, make themselves available for me. She noted that this is one of the reasons she doesn’t judge anyone. Despite it all, Toke stated that she still has love for them and is giving them grace.
