Award-winning singer, Tiwatope Savage better known as Tiwa Savage has lamented as the long summer holidays for school kick in.
Taking to her Instagram story, Tiwa Savage who couldn’t keep her feelings asked what she can do to keep her 9-year-old son, Jamal occupied every summer holiday.
The ‘Somebody Son’ crooner bemoans motherhood as she states using a hashtag that she just wants to enjoy herself.
She wrote,
“Because how am I supposed to keep a 9-year-old occupied every summer break. Abeg let them resume school fast #iwannaenjoymyself”
Recall that Tiwa Savage and her former manager, Tunji Balogun better known as Teebillz tied the knot on 23rd November 2013. At the time, he was her manager.
The couple welcomed a son, Jamal, in 2015 before officially parting ways in a messy fight in 2018 following allegations of infidelity, financial mismanagement and drug addiction by both parties.
As expected the duo who are co-parenting seem to be cool with each other.
Glamsquad recalls that in October 2023, Teebillz penned an emotional appreciation note to Tiwa Savage.
He praised her parenting efforts and acknowledged how she still portrays him as a superhero to their son even when he can’t afford certain things.
Teebillz also stated that when he looks at the challenges other men face, he can’t help but appreciate his blessings. He expressed eternal gratitude to Tiwa Savage for infusing their relationship with love and tenderness.
He noted that being a single mother is an incredibly challenging job, which is why he is even more amazed by her.
One would understand why during the public disagreement between Tiwa and Davido, Teebillz was quick to protect his ex-wife.
He also warned Davido against harming her, and tagged him a deadbeat father.
