Afro-pop queen, Tiwa Savage has cleared the air on her relationship with hip-hop star, Wizkid, stating they are “friends with benefits.”
Tiwa, who has been on media tours to promote her latest single 49-99, had an interview with Beat FM where she was asked about her relationship with the Joro crooner.
Recall that both artistes have sparked dating rumours by constantly making public appearances together and featuring in each other’s music videos.
The former first lady of Mavin records addressed the rumours, stating that they are very good friends and she benefits from their friendship as they do music and attend ‘public and private’ shows together.
“We are good friends with a few benefits. We go to shows together, we do music together and we make money together. We’re definitely friends with benefits; we do both adults shows, we’ve done public and private shows
When asked the reason she is still single, the mother of one said there is no exact reason but it’s just where she has found herself.
“I’m not in a relationship at the moment. it’s really not music, it’s just where i’ve found myself. You know when people say men slide into their DMs, nobody slide into my DM, people only do to ask for school fees, features on tracks. I don’t get naughty pictures”
