Tinubu, Macron in Traditional Nigerian Attire Warms Heart

President Bola Tinubu commenced a historic three-day visit to France on Thursday, the first official state visit by a Nigerian leader in over 20 years.

The visit, focused on strengthening economic ties between France and Nigeria, highlights Paris’s initiative to rekindle its relationship with Africa’s largest economy amidst shifting dynamics on the continent.

During the cause of the visit, photos has been circulating the internet of him in a traditional attire with the France president and their first ladies by their side.

Another photo which caught the public eye was of them in an English outfit making the president looking younger.

French President Emmanuel Macron greeted Tinubu at Paris’s renowned Invalides memorial complex. The ceremony began with the national anthems of both nations resonating through the courtyard, paving the way for talks on enhancing bilateral ties.

Macron’s office called the visit an “opportunity to strengthen the already vibrant relationship between France and Nigeria,” highlighting the potential for expanded cooperation across multiple sectors.
