Nollywood actor, Timini Egbuson has stated that many women have turned romantic relationships into a money-making venture.
The A-list actor in a recent interview with TVC Entertainment explained that this mindset is why some wealthy men don’t place much value on women, as they can easily have as many as they want.
Timini also noted that many women equate love with lavish spending, but that isn’t always the case.
“The nonchalant attitude of some men is because there are a lot of women accessible to them. You know, once you have money, you have a lot of options. And that is also because a lot of women have monetised dating.
“Some men know that when they spend lavishly on a lady, she would think they are in love with her. But that is not love because he’s a billionaire, he can afford to do the same thing for hundreds of girls.”
In other news, Timini sent ladies into hiding as he revealed that he is in a committed relationship.
Acknowledging that he isn’t getting any younger, Timini emphasized that it’s time to reveal he’s in a relationship and one of his goals for the year is to be more present for his partner.
Timini also noted that one of the qualities that defines a very good boyfriend is availability.
“Since I’m very busy, it’s sort of very unrealistic for me to focus on quality time and I feel like that is something I am working on. Like I said, this year, I want to be a little bit more available so that I can now spend quality time with my partner. Oh my God! I said it. I think I’m in love.
“It’s about time. I am not a kid anymore. 40 is knocking on the door. In order to be a better boyfriend, then you have to be available. No matter how you try to explain and compensate with material things, there is really nothing like that presence you know.”
Interestingly, Timini revealed his kind of woman after he made an appearance as a guest on the recent episode of Kamsi Nnamani’s podcast ‘On The Kouch With Kamsi’.
The ‘A Tribe Called Judah’ star stated that he cannot date a woman who is obesessed with Big Brother Naija reality TV show. He further mentioned that he wouldn’t be compatible with a woman who dances with a handkerchief, underscoring his value for moderation in all things.
