‘Thor’ and ‘Punisher’ actor, Ray Stevenson passes away at 58

Veteran Irish actor, George Raymond Stevenson or simply Ray Stevenson, who starred in movies like “Punisher: War Zone” has died. He was 58.

Stevenson’s death on Sunday was confirmed by a representative. Other information has not yet been disclosed.

Rosario Dawson and Stevenson had been cast together in the new Star Wars series “Ahsoka” on Disney+, which is a sequel to the popular “The Mandalorian” series.

Northern Ireland’s Lisburn is where Stevenson was born in 1964. After years of working in British television and attending the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, he made his acting debut in Paul Greengrass’ 1998 film “The Theory of Flight.”

He acted as a knight of the Round Table in Antoine Fuqua’s “King Arthur” in 2004. A few years later, he played the main character in the Marvel adaptation “Punisher: War Zone.”

The Hollywood Reporter states that Sebastiano, Leonardo, and Lodovico are Stevenson’s three surviving children. He shares his children with Italian anthropologist Elisabetta Caraccia.
