The internet has been on fire for days after popular Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, announced that he had updated his secret lover, Judy Austin to the status of a second wife.
Yul, who has been married for over 16 yeas to May Edochie, impregnated one of his secret lovers and fellow actress, Judy Austin sometime last year.
After Judy welcomed a son for him, Yul proceeded to pay her bride price. A move he reportedly did without the consent of his first wife, May.
Yul then took to social media shortly after Gist Lovers gave a hint about it to reveal what had happen.
Following his shocking revelation, Yul was attacked by many Nigerians, who called him out for “painting a perfect family picture with his first wife on social media,” while he was busy cheating on her.

While other condemned him, a handful of other Nigerians (mostly men) supported him with the mantra, “Polygamy is African.”
Popular director and producer, Tchidi Chikere was among those to celebrated and hailed Yul. He (Tchidi) was dragged by a troll, who reminded him of how his two wives left him. The troll tagged Tchidi and Yul, “birds of a feather.”
Popular Instagram gossip blogger, Cutie Julls, has come out to claim that Tchidi only wants to win Yul’s trust, hence the “ass licking.”
She alleged that Tchidi’s former wife, Nuella Njibigbo, was Yul’s secret lover before she was snatched by Tchidi.
According to Cutie Julls, this move created enmity between the two friends and they parted ways.
