The 2026 FIFA World Cup is going to take place from June 11 to July 19, 2026. For the first time, 48 teams will compete in the tournament, making it the largest World Cup in history. The next FIFA World Cup in 2026 is also introducing a halftime show like the Super Bowl.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup will be jointly hosted by 16 cities in three North American countries: Canada, Mexico, and the United States
The tournament will feature 104 matches, with the group stages consisting of 72 games. The top teams will then advance to the knockout stages, culminating in the final on July 19, 2026.
