Tems Features On ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ Soundtrack

Glamsquad reports that Nigerian global songstress Tems, features on the soundtrack of the yet-to-be-released Black Panther sequel, Wakanda Forever.

This comes as a surprise after Marvel Studios released the trailer for Wakanda Forever today, Sunday 24th July 2022 and it featured Tems singing a cover for Bob Marley’s ‘No Woman No Cry’ before transitioning to ‘Alright’, the 2015 single by Kendrick Lamar.

The trailer shows a nation and family mourning Chadwick Boseman, who played King T’Challa in the 2018 hit movie directed by Ryan Coogler.

It also gives an insight into a nation and family mourning Chadwick Boseman, who played King T’Challa in 2018.

Meanwhile, Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassettz) could be heard screaming “I am queen of the most powerful nation in the world, and my entire family is gone. Have I not given everything?”

Glamsquad recalls that Chadwick Boseman passed on in 2020 at the age of 43 after a long battle with colon cancer.
The sequel, also directed by Coogler, is scheduled to be released on 11th November 2022.

Glamsquard also notes that Marvel did not recast T’Challa’s role but retained several cast from the first instalment.

‘Black Panther’ was built around a fictional African country and featured a predominantly black cast film.

The development further stretches Tems’ impressive career run in the global music industry.

Tems was recently revealed as one of the songwriters on Beyonce’s upcoming album ‘Renaissance’.

The track list of Beyonce’s upcoming album titled ‘Renaissance’ was finally revealed on Thursday, 20th July 2022 and Tems was credited as one of the songwriters on track 10 ‘Move’ under her full name Temilade Openiyi. Read here
