Taylor Swift, an American musician, said she is “in complete shock” following the stabbing attack during a dance and yoga class in the United Kingdom themed after her music.
Merseyside Police reported on Tuesday that a 9-year-old girl died from her injuries at a rural hospital the day after the incident.

According to BBC News, two more girls, ages six and seven, were killed during the Monday incident in Southport, a coastal town in northwest England. Five other youngsters and two adults remained in critical condition at the hospital.
In a statement Monday, the police said a 17-year-old male was detained on charges of attempted murder and murder, and a knife was seized following the incident.
Reacting via her Instagram account, Swift said the horror of the attack was “washing over” her continuously.
She wrote: “The horror of yesterday’s attack in Southport is washing over me continuously, and I’m just completely in shock.
“The loss of life and the innocence, and the horrendous trauma inflicted on everyone who was there, the families, and first responders.
“These were just little kids at a dance class. I am at a complete loss for how to ever convey my sympathies to these families.”
