T.J. Holmes file for divorce from his second wife, Marilee Fiebig

After nearly 13 years of marriage, ABC News host T.J. Holmes reportedly filed for divorce from his second wife Marilee Fiebig in a New York City court.

His alleged extramarital affair with his “Good Morning America 3” co-host Amy Robach prompted the divorce filing.

Both anchors were temporarily benched from the network while an internal company review was conducted, and rumors of their infidelity dominated industry rumors and tabloid news.

The Daily Mail reported in November that Holmes, 45, and Robach, who co-host the network’s midday show “GMA3,” have been “locked in a passionate romance despite both being married to their respective spouses for the past 12 years,” and that the report included several intimate photographs of the midday anchors taken throughout that month.

Since then, there has been much speculation about who gave the Daily Mail the tip about the extramarital affair. Some people think that someone at ABC wanted to end the dynamic.

The Post then published a string of shocking, first-hand accounts suggesting that Holmes may have cheated on his wife with a number of ABC News employees while having “no shame.”

The information came to light as the Disney-owned network examined the alleged co-hosts’ relationship internally.

According to a source who spoke with Page Six, Fiebig, an attorney, was “blindsided” by her husband’s adultery. One daughter was born to the couple.

Robach and Andrew Shue, a former “Melrose Place” actor, have been wed for 12 years. She is reportedly also divorcing her husband.
